    Songs you just can't stand

Anybody have a certain song/s that they just can't handle hearing because it brings out too many emotions and memories, and reminds you of someone that broke your heart?

Mine is "My Best Friend" by Tim McGraw. It was the ringtone on my ex's cell and i get choked up the instant I hear it now.

Yeah I have a few actually. Some of them are because I attached special meaning to them about a relationship and some are just because she really liked them and I can't bear to hear them any more. Metro Station - Shake It. Staind - So Far Away. Anything from the latest Kings of Leon album. Good to know I'm not the only one who feels like that about certain music!

Well we were both White Stripes fans so now I can't even listen to the White Stripes which is my favorite band without thinking about how pissed I am at her.
Completely baffled by a backward indication
That an inspired word will come across your tongue
Hands moving upward to propel the situation
    Have simply halted
    And now the conversation's done

I can't listen to "Angel" by Aerosmith. My college boyfriend took a swing at me after too much jag for talking to one of our guy friends and thats how things ended. You don't swing at your angel.

Also, "Amazed" by Lonestar. Yet another college boyfriend song he dubbed "ours" I guess he was more amazed that random skank he cheated on me with.

Meh.I'm cool with that since I don't care for Aerosmith or Lonestar anyway.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

    The Smiths - I Know It's Over.

I can't even listen to it when I'm happy. I don't really associate it with anyone, it's just as miserable as hell.
