This is my first visit to a love forum.......!! I've tried dating sites with no success, and 'meatmarket' pick ups are not what I'm looking for - basically - where do I go to meet someone who wants the same??? Any ideas that I may not have thought of - please?

There are many places to meet people, just not the obvious places. Places like book stores, supermarkets, adult activities, like taking an art class, learn how to dance etc. These places are much better than the places you mentioned, good luck!
