Your sugars will always be more unstable when you're sick, but I've never had a patient go that low before (i think the lowest I've had was in the 40s).... Are you taking long-acting medication along with sliding scale short-acting?

I dont know whether they are the same brand name or whatever over in the states, but at the moment im taking novorapid 3 times daily, one dose of levemir in the morning and 14 units of the same at bedtime.

Yeah, we have those but we call the novorapid "novolog".
