I will do my best to reply with an educated, humble and honest answer. Ultimately, it is up to you whether you want to listen to my advice or ignore it completely. Sometimes, my advice may be wrong; occasionally, it will be right. Regardless, I want to do my best to give people answers they are seeking.
They are pretty common. And yes, you shouldn't have sex until it's cleared, because it will irritate her vagina. But it's not sexually transmitted.
Yeas infection is only an imbalance of the yeast amount in her vagina. The worst you could get if you have sex with her is a small rash on your penis that will go away in a day at most. For her, it will usually hurt.
Give her a few days to a week to heal. I'm sure she's taken the necessary steps to get rid of the infection, but it does take an extra day or so for the discharge and irritation to subside. I give myself a few days afterward to make sure I'm in the clear.
