    Pasta Recipes?

Hello my pretties, I'm looking for a relatively simple pasta recipe to make tomorrow evening for the boys coming home from their fishing trip.

Anything you can suggest would be awesome. I'm open to whatever, but something simple and quick would be stellar.

    Thanks yo.

    Chicken cacciatore is good.

Get some boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut them up into bite sized pieces.

cook them in a pan with garlic, onion, and olive oil.

Once the chicken is cooked drain it if there is a lot of fat on it...probably is so just do it.

With the chicken now that it is cooked throw in some mushrooms, olives, a green pepper, and a jar of spaghetti sauce.

In another pot boil some water and add what pasta you'd like to have with it.

It takes less than an hour to make and its pretty easy.

You can find plenty on Youtube. I used to do that a lot from mashed potatoes to curry. It's been a while though since I cooked pasta. Can't remember a thing now hehe. Need to look it up again if needed to.

Tell the boys you're sick of their bullshėt, and they should be satisfied eating the fish they caught.

If they're still hungry, consult with Jesus.

Saute in olive oil some garlic, green onion, squash, zucchini. When ready, add fresh chopped tomato, salt, pepper, and fresh basil. Put this over angel hair pasta. Easy and tasty. You can add some grilled chicken if you want, and some garlic bread.

Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Do you have a food processor?

The simplest pasta dish I know is fresh pesto over penne (or any pasta of your choice). In a processor or blender take 1/4 cup of pine nuts, a clove of garlic, 2 cups of fresh basil leaves, salt and pepper and blend until everything is chopped. Then while the blender is still running, slowly pour in extra virgin olive oil until the ingredients are runny like a sauce. In a bowl, mix in about a cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese. Cook your pasta and then mix in the pesto and voila! Super fresh, super tasty, super easy.

    Simple, manly pasta:

Buy a pack of spicy Italian sausage. Break open the casings and remove the innards. Loosen the meat up. Brown. Saute mushrooms, onions and garlic. Mix with the meat and store bought spaghetti sauce. Takes a while to make decent spaghetti sauce from scratch, so skip that. Simmer, stirring frequently.

Boil noodles. I prefer spiral noodles (whatever you call them), but it doesn't really matter. Once drained and cooked al dente, douse in good olive oil and grated parmesan cheese right away. The residual heat will melt the cheese and the noodles will taste stupid awesome.

Like I said, manly pasta for manly men who have hair on their chests. If you're catering to a bunch of metrosexuals you might want to stick with chicken breasts, white sauces and asparagus or something else equally girly.

You can make a cold pasta salad....

Tri-color spiral pasta with the following ingredients to taste: chopped red onion and tomato, finely chopped fresh carrots and broccoli, sliced black olives. Pour italian salad dressing over it when cold. I like the highly flavored, cheap ones best for pasta salad, like Wishbone, because then you don't have to add any additional seasonings. It's not my favorite, but the kids really like it.

Mmm. You know what's a good dressing for pasta like that? This stuff called Salad Supreme by McCormick, it's over in the spice section. You add a healthy heap of that, and then equal parts olive oil and vinegar. The fancier the better. Add way more vinegar and olive oil than your taste buds can tolerate. Refrigerate overnight and it'll come out with a great taste and a helluva kick.

    Simple Pasta:

    Ingredients -

    long thin pasta noodles
    Chicken breast
    Mushrooms
    Capsicum
    One bottle of cream
Creamy pasta sauce (of your choosing)
    Mazarella cheese
    Sunflower oil

    Preparation -

Boil the long, thin pasta noodles
    (while they are boiling)
Slice the chicken breast into small bite size pieces, put some sunflower oil on the frying pan and start cooking them
Once the chicken is almost ready slice the mushrooms and the capsicum and add them in
Once the above is almost ready slice mozarella cheese and sprinkle on top, let the cheese melt on the frying pan (not too much so that it sticks to the frying pan, just enough for it to become warm and stretchy)
Add creamy pasta sauce and cook until it gets warm
Add cream and let it simmer
Take out the cooked thin pasta noodles, put it onto the plates and put the stuff in your frying pan on top

I cooked that for my gf on our fourth date at my place and she's been asking me for more ever since

Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
