Mentioning Marriage and the Future

Hi. Do men usually only mention marriage and ask about the future to someone he is dating because he sees a future with her?

I don't think many of us really talk about it direct like a woman would, at least I didn't nor did my close friends.

I made a joke about how my girlfriend (now Fiancee) was stuck with me for life while we were at a club one night, I'd never mentioned anything previously but in my head I knew I was keeping hold of her. I need to work on my open-ness

If someone you are with mentioned it then I would take that as a big step unless of course you'd only been dating a couple of weeks, then it's odd.

Yes, I believe so. My guys said he "knew" when he wasn't phased when he spilled a bit talking about what our kids will be as they grow up. He says that was his pinnicle moment for him.

If this guy saw you are 'potential' future material, he'd be exclusive with you, NOT just dating you.
