Hello all! This should be interesting; I've been perusing this sight for quite some time, and finally decided to jump in to see how the waters are here. I should be comic relief for most on here; I have to be one of the world's worst at successful relationships.

Background: I am coming off a two year adventure in love hell. I separated from my ex-wife a year ago, and divorced in December of last year; the relationship lasted seven years, the marriage five.

It took me about a year to get the wind back in my sails, reconnected with a girl I knew since I was a teen, had a wonderful time with her, her ex called, I got the curb, and now I pine miserably for her company. Pathetic sap, I know.

Anyway, I'm ready to learn a few things from others input, to give advice when I can, and to be publicly flogged for my foolishness. I hope I can be of value to you all!
