    Bar b q-ing

so there are goods and there is the bad.... so are some of your favorites that you love to cook up? i want to bar b q soon....and don't give me the plain jane hamburgers or hot dogs... gimme some damn recipes or brand named shit. i also love to cook vegetables so give me some ideas. where is that nebraska guy with the corn??

secondly, i love to smoke my bar b q grill. and as some of you, i have irritating neighbors. i'm wondering what are some of the smelliest food or things that you've cooked up before. something that smells like Limburger or some shit like that...

    ideas???

Why don't you BBQ up your noisy neighbor?

    Two birds, one stone.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

they are actually planning a bar b q for this thursday. being that i work on friday, i will probably throw one on the weekend while they are at work. it's not fun to come home and realize oh shit, my neighbors had bar b qed, and i left all my windows open.

i am also keeping in mind where the midterm season rolls about.

I'm not sure if you're familiar with this. Try a Chinese grocery. They have those salted fishes that's preserved in oil. They come in glass bottles. I love those stuff but to typical Caucasians, they smell like shiyyyeett!

would you mind telling me what it's called? hello...!! remember i told you that i was half chinese, and i'm really familiar with asian cooking.

off hand though, i can't seem to pin point what you're talking about. i'm more into japanese cuisine, however, i do eat chinese food often.

Charred red bell peppers, sliced up and heated with some white wine vinegar and stuff. Should be a recipe around somewhere on google.

And simply grilling bananas for dessert never goes wrong.

I'm not a big fan of grilled bananas but peaches are really good for dessert....in my opinion at least....just half them, remove the pit and put them fruit side down on the grill...tasty. Same with Pineapple.

We recently did corn on the cob on the grill...don't keep it in the husks, maybe rub some olive oil on the grill and just lay it right on the grill. Turning every couple minutes. I think we left it on there about 15 mins. Lather with butter every time you turn it. Deeelish.

Also we love asparagus on the grill. Put it in one of those disposable tin pans and sautee with lemon juice, a spash of oil, salt, and butter. Keep it on about 15 mins. Tossing occassionally.

You should totally try the beer can in the butt chicken. Amazing. Best chicken you'll ever have. You can pick up the little stands at Bed, Bath, and Beyond for about $5 and whole chickens are usually under $10.

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
