plus, it's way more fun to go after em. i'd get bored after a while if i wouldn't have to do nothing and land a phone number or a one-night stand by eye-ing the girl in a very cliche way.

plus, i have a feeling that it gives them a sense of control over men and they like it.

2 reasons:

1) Women enjoy being hunted, because it boosts their ego
2) They are just as scared of rejection as you are

It all depends on how popular she is. I know a girl that is so pretty that she gets approached at least 5 times per evening when she goes out. She NEVER makes a move because she doesn't have to. The biggest move she has ever made is to text a guy instead of waiting for him to text her.
On the other hand, some women are far less attractive and realize that they will never get a date if they don't make an effort. Those are the ones who will make moves.

there are girls that WILL pursue or make the first move. just not that many. (it also depends on how attractive u r)

Every time I have gotten a girl, she has done the pursuit. MIght explain why I always end up in ****ed up situations and in the end hurt myself.
