Just a quick question people.. is it possible to stay friends with an ex? especially if the break up is fresh and you are still in love with her/him?

If you still want my opinion in this..

The person who breaks up will always want to be friends , because of what you together had, was great. Anyway, the person who got hurt will seem this is not possible (in the beginning) because you will keep loving him especially when the relationship has just ended.
There is always a winner and loser in the game of love. And sadly enough you are the loser (not to be rude). Ofcourse you can be friends, but are you sure you will not hurt yourself everytime you are going to have a drink with him?

you can't be friends if one of you is still in love with the other. and if you do, you're probably sticking around to see if the other changes their mind and wants to get back together. you may also not WANT to accept that you've broken up hence sticking around as long as you can.

Not a Good idea. Unless you can accept just being friends. Nothing hurts more than being pushed to the side as a friend as she dates someone else

I'm either friends or a acquaintances with my exs even though when we
broke up it & was really rough. Just if you are don't have any hard feelings
and don't mention the past unless it has to come up in convo which I doubt it will

Not possible if you are still in love with that person. Go and move on and come back when you are over them, then you should be able to form an okay (distant) friendship.
