No, we did meet, and I said that. I said that our meeting only confirmed everything I felt for him and its not an internet-only relationship, that is just how we met.

Okay I take it back, you've met. After one year of contact, you've met a week ago for 5 days. Sorry, the wall of text makes it easy to miss things (I would advise to break it up into paragraphs).
Well, it seems like you've only been really going out for 5 days and don't really know each other. Whatever knowledge you do have is superficial and from a distance. I still think this is way too early to have the strength of feelings that you are displaying for him. That and his outlook on the relationship combined I don't think is looking good for you. If he doesn't want to be in a relationship then he's within his rights not to pursue one.Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
