Everyone knew it would happen it was just when. About 2 years ago 2 of our very good friends got engaged the "wrong" way. And they were only dating a year. He was 32 at the time and she got into a scuffle with him and ended up saying you're old, why haven't you proposed yet!? He took her to pick out her ring the next day. I'll admit I was a little jealous, I'd put in my time and she hadn't and they were engaged first. Yeah I know how stupid that sounds. But I can't help what I thought. Then I asked my guy what he thought, was he not ready, what's he waiting for? And he just said, we're not ready but it will happen in its own due time and that he's known for some time that he would but now wasn't the right time. At that point I accepted it and said nothing of it again and then when I least expected it he did. And he did it because he wanted to not because he was asked to. He said he'd had it for a week and couldn't wait any longer.

So lucky! I would assume he must be a good guy for you to want to marry him. Not everyone is that lucky to meet and catch one. If I find one in the future, I would make sure to hold onto him.
