Ex wants news of me

My ex, who broke up with me over a year ago emailed me wanted news from me. (How I'm doing, etc...)

I'm pretty sure she doesn't want to get back with me, After reading her e-mail, I realised I'm not over her (Still love her i think).

I pretty much have 2 choices. 1) tell her off, never see her again (Which i did a year ago), or 2) talk to her and see what happens.

The thing, is talking to her destroys me... I wish i was strong enough to be cool and stuff but after reading one of her e-mails, I'm always dieing a little inside and holding tears in...

Is continuing to talk to her a good thing and could maybe help me get over her/get her back or am i just paining myself for nothing.

Telling her off only shows her that she has some type of power over you still. She had every right to break up with you, and you have every right to go on with your life. If you don't want to talk with her again, tell her, but by getting emotional you kind of run the risk of looking stupid and not over her.
