is he too jealous?

i was on a cruise and it costs a bomb to contact home etc., i never contact my parents or friends till back etc as cost is very high. on getting back my bf was jealous i did not call him but i never said i would and did ot contact family while away and they understood and were ok. he did not call me when away but expected me to call him! also my business occasionally needs me to do gig at short notice and he doe snot lke tht even though he usd ohave own business too. is he just too jealous? i am faithful.

I can't really call someone upset that you didn't call -at all-, jealous.

Unless there's some more exceptional issues (IE doesn't like you going out without him, snoops, etc) I wouldn't be pulling out the jealous label quite yet.

I'd be pretty ticked off if my wife went on a cruise and didn't buzz me at all. Cost or no cost, I would simply be offended and hurt, and honestly suspicious.
