Okay so heres the story

About 3 weeks ago my GF comes to me saying she needs a break because she has feelings about commitment. She says she loves me more than anything and that she wants to be with me but she needs this break to get rid of those feelings. Im like her first serious boyfriend and she is scared about spending the rest of her life with me. I told her that i hadn't asked her to marry me but if she is happy with me (she agreed she was) and i am happy with her than why ruin it? But she said she still needed the break...so i respected that. About two days later she called me and said she missed me too much so the break was over. Than the next week she came back to me with the break thing again. She tried again and failed. Then finally a couple days later she said she needed to break up. She says that this is for us and that its just a phase in our relationship. I respected her again ..i love her so much so i had to let her do what she needed to do. Than like 3 days later i called her and found out that she was out with another guy and she was planning on seeing him more. She says she is confused and doesn't know what she wants . I was crushed. So i let her know how i feel ...how much i loeved her and stuff. Than i stopped talking to her i didn't want to come on to strong . And then she left me a message a couple days later asking how i was and that she would call me. Needless to say she didn't call me ...so i called her. Thats when she said some really mean things about me and then bassically hung up on me. I was destroyed i didn't understadn why she said the things she said. So then i told her that i had gotten all her things to togethor and she could come get them. She apologized for some of the things she said and she came and got her stuff and has been gone. I haven't talked to her since. Our relationship was for 2 years with minor problems. She said before she planned on us being together forever and i had agreed. Some of the things she said about our relationship were so trivial which made me believe they were just excuses. So now im on no contact with her... do you tyhink she will ever come back to me?

Sounds kinda familiar to me. I guess what everyone has been telling me is that its pretty hopeless, you kinda gotta leave things up to her, be supportive be her friend, but don't over do it. I so feel for you right now and I wish I could give you a magic solution, but as I've learned in the past few weeks, there is no magic solution. Hang in there and know that we're all going through the same shit
