Do you think that it's best to sign a Christmas card "love x" or "from x"...Is there anything suggestive in using "love x" perhaps between friends (of the opposite sex - hehe)?

Ahh yes. If you guys are REALLY good friends, you could put love down. Love would suggest that you're practically inseperatable siblings or further than that. If you're afraid for being accused of something more than friendship, then stick with "from". Nice and formal.
"Elevator doors don't like me. Automatic doors don't like me. Car doors don't like me. Closet doors don't like me. Hell, all doors don't like me... I'm so disfunctional."
I'd say from... unless he/she doesn't know you like her and you need a way of maybe hinting it.
it depends on what kind of person you are. if somebody flirty put that, i'd think nothing of it. but if it was somebody usually quiet and shy, i might wonder if there was more ot it...
personally, i would put 'love' for all my friends =)
I put love for everyone and don't think twice about it but that's just the way I am.
If you're thinking about it I'd probably say choose from though
i'm with cbee..... i really wouldn't think twice about it. chances are if you are taking the time to send them a card you really do care about them.
on the other hand if someone sent me a christmas card signed love i wouldn't think much into that either! But that's just me i guess
D. None of the above.
