I have been chatting with this guy for one month and calling everyday. Finally we meet life for the first time. He asks me to stay in a hotel since it's the first time. Next day is my birthday, don't get flowers or card. We have dinner, then fight cause I am unhappy about my birthday. The next day he tells me he is really sick, but asks me to stay for more days. Originally we said I should be in the hotel for 2 nights only, then his house. Now he says I can't come cause he is sick and his whole fam is there. Then I don't hear from him for 2 days so I fly home. He said after he was too sick to contact me. ????

Maybe I should mention that his dad was with us both nights for dinner. Dad is very old and he takes him for dinner most nights. He seems genuine but at the same time thinks it's not a big deal to show up for birthday with nothing. He said he had something planned but already didn't feel well on birthday, but still came for dinner at least. Also seems to think it's allright to not contact me for 2 days cause he is sick. But I was sitting in this hotel, not hearing from him. I don't think anyone is too sick to at least write an SMS.

yep. in todays world of technology there is nearly no reason someone could not communicate. Do not give him the benefit of the doubt.
