    Define Love

I challenge you to define Love:

If Love is just looking after your own family then isn't it merely a form of good behavior and punishment your children or reacting negatively to bad behavior?

If love is having to do with relationships wouldn't it be more accurately defined as sex and passion?

If love is something you love to do, wouldn't that be more accurately defined as pleasure or joy?

Other things that might be considered love include sacrifice, forgiveness, mercy, tolerance, profound joy, peace.

What is the highest definition we can give to Love: That would be God (New Testament definition of God) or Life itself.

Now consider this: there is nothing that can be done out of moderation, in excess, that does not lead to a very bad outcome. Whether it be over-eating, over-drinking, over-exercising, over-active imagination, the list goes on and on. Even life itself can become damaging if our surrounding circumstance is sickness or constant suffering. The only thing we can't get possibly get enough of is Love, but is love always good?

Love is NOT always good. When we love someone we must be willing to forgive them, thereby accepting the bitter and negative thing they have done to us with mercy. If we don't forgive them, the love that is between the two persons will then vanish. So love is an sort of good relationship which is able to endure something negative.

Let's go back to the man and woman for a moment. The miracle of creation occurs between them. Now if you think about all the pairs in life you come up with a binary matrix: good and evil, zero and one, night and day, right and wrong, light and dark, shade and color, small and big, few and many, food and drink, positive and negative, birth and death, etc.

So Love, in all of it's definitions, is therefore a union of the positive and negative being placed within one another, the physical manifestation of which is sex. If one is in the right and someone attacks them, you would expect retaliation up until somebody is seriously injured or dies, but what if you retaliate? What if you, being positive, are willing to accept and take on the negative action of your attacker? What if the person who attacked you in his negative state was confounded by this and stopped, thereby becoming positive? So in one scenario both positive and negative become negative, and in the other scenario positive takes within it something negative, and negative takes within it something positive and then there is peace.

Now let's go back to good and evil. Reality simply is, but good and evil are entirely subjective terms. Everyone has their own idea of what is good, which they honor, and the opposite of this is considered evil, which they punish. Prior to 1966 there was 14531 known wars in some 6000 years of recorded history. That's a lot of disputes that ended negatively. I think we can safely say there is a serious lack of love, as per the above example, that is peacemaking, compromising, and unites the positive and negative. We don't see much of it in the world today either. Why can't we all just get along? Or a child, untained by the ways of adulters, might ask "why can't we all just love each other."

What would happen where people just love each other, always uniting positive and negative outcomes. We would share with each other, give to the needy, forgive those who harm us, all of the various pairs in life would unite in harmony and balance. Just imagine love occurring between rich and poor, day and night, man and woman, pleasure and pain, sweet and bitter, king and subjects, soldier and citizen, country and country, friend and foe, ally and enemy, matter and spirit, zero and one (in binary programming, which when united in order and harmony produce computers)

Now that you have a good understanding of this dualistic binary matrix we live in and the nature of Love as union between all opposites, I'd like to call your attention to the very foundation of existence itself. Where does live come from? Even the big bang had to have had an origin. At the most fundamental level of life you can't just get something out of nothing. That's a cheap magic trick, folks. Therefore there must be inherently something, just as much as there is inherently nothing.

Let's call this self existing something God, or perhaps energy. Since energy can neither be created nor destroyed. We might also call it love. You might say hate is the opposite of love, but hate is merely strong anger that is completely devoid of love. Just as nothingness is not something, but seems to become something when you mention it. Here we are trying to define what is does not exist, but if we could define it then it would exist. Then maybe at a fundamental level God is love, and since nothing doesn't really exist, there is only God, er um love, or energy changing forms, etc.

From here we might visit the one creation myth that supports the dualistic nature of reality where there is an equal and opposite reaction for every action. The opposite of something having been created, of course, is for it to eventually be destroyed. Back in the Garden of Eden man was given one commandment and that was to avoid learning the knowledge of good and evil, but through woman woe was brought onto man, who may have eaten also out of love to be joined with her.

And what instigates this situation? The Serpent. There is a whole lotta lore on serpents and dragons, but suffice if to say the serpent represents wisdom and power. To understand this we need to examine the very nature of perfection and imperfection. If you have perfection then to want more is to redefine the perfection as imperfection. Since you want or need more then what is already provided then you have just redefined that what is already provided was not adequate. So we wanted to become like God, knowing good and evil, choosing knowledge over life, and the serpent over God (which is Love.)

Then were our eyes opened and we knew we were naked and were ashamed. This is more then just becoming lustful instead of innocent, for now we hide the truth of what we are. We cloth ourselves with illusions and masks in our good and evil based dualistic existence. The naked truth is associated with evil and we make various lies that are good, but what really happened was that we fell from oneness and pure love into the natural animalistic laws. Where once a human being was a perfect unique creation that was both God spirit and animal, now we became fully Gods and thus also fully animals that are subject to death.

Until one day, a child was born of a virgin human. The virgin birth is very rare, but it does sometimes occur in nature. This child was born immortal and complete just as the first humans were originally. He, being positive, took on the negative sins of the entire world, that the world, being negative, might be rejoined with the positive in love, and what were his two commandments: Love God and Love thy neighbor as thyself. Love Love? It's all really just Love and being perfected in Love.

"If thine eye is single, then the whole body is full of light."

So now, in mental understanding and in spirit, one might be born again in love. This doesn't erase the penalty of death or the genetics associated with corruptible physical bodies, but as death came about through one man, a ressurrection from the dead might also come about because of him.

When positive and negative are united in love, good and evil are discarded. When the duality is united and resolved, there is only oneness. Since nothingness doesn't actually exist, there is only really God, who is Love. All things are an extention of Love, the point which becomes the whole universe is infinite in size. Seed is 1 and womb is 9, together making 10 perfect dimensions which are united as one in our knowledge. What then is knowledge, but an 11th dimension? A bottomless pit to which there is no end.
LOVE is the union of opposite pairs; Lost with Adam - regained with Christ.
LOVE is the substance of a creator that cares; beyond good and evil in oneness unite.

I thought you were challenging others to define love...then you pasted in an entire novel.

This part is overly simplistic and undermines all that comes after: Let's go back to the man and woman for a moment. The miracle of creation occurs between them. Now if you think about all the pairs in life you come up with a binary matrix: good and evil, zero and one, night and day, right and wrong, light and dark, shade and color, small and big, few and many, food and drink, positive and negative, birth and death, etc.

Good and evil are constructs, and even then they form a continuum, not a binary matrix. Night and day are a cycle, not a binary matrix, right and wrong are another continuum as things are rarely so cut and dried, as are light and dark and small and big. Color is a spectrum. Food and drink, how on earth is that a binary matrix with oranges opposing orange juice and milk opposing cheese? Birth and death cannot be a binary matrix, as they are simply points in the process of each person's life.

Limited humans like to see things in absolutes and opposites, and such simplification assists us in creating our technology. But the universe is not limited or shaped by the size of our understanding, nor is love.
