She's intensely passionate about people being racist.

She was kind enough to bring this passion to the dinner table right before we were going to go to my friends to hang out. I tried to brush it off in a humorous way but she didn't find any funny about one of her coworkers having a racist attitude.

Thats not what I meant. I meant that if race even plays a factor in the way people think about people, then racism still exists. It should be a trivial of a discriptor as hair or eye color, with no connotations whatsoever brought up when mentioned. I feel we'll get there in 200-400 years.

I tried to recognize her side of things while not losing my own integrity by agreeing with her, it boiled down to me saying, "I honestly don't care, you're going to get burnt up over something you have no control over."

At which point she hit me below the belt by hashing something up, completely unrelated from a week ago.

She really wanted me to say, "Yes, that is outrageous, I can't believe she said that, and racist white people are horrible, I am with you, there there, poor little bunny."
