From experience: DON'T use words you're not familiar with. I'll come over as awkward. Because it's not your normal way of talking.
Can someone please explain what is so great about constantly being reminded of that which you cannot have?

English isn't my native language either. The way I learn is by speaking English as often as I can and picking up words, their pronunciation and the context in which they should be used by talking to people.
Just random words you read on the internet is possible, but be careful (just my 2 cts)

But from what I know...other words for such a conversation could be horny (very clear) or exited.

I never have such conversations, so I can't think of any more right now
Can someone please explain what is so great about constantly being reminded of that which you cannot have?

The right word to use would be 'horny'. I can't think of any slang words for describing not having had any action for a while. Not from the part of England where I from anyway and we are one of the most 'slang' regions.

Okay, while the word "horny" may convey your message, it has very negative connotations. Using it would seem to show a lack of class or sophistication. I would cringe if I heard that word come out of my husband's mouth.

Unless you guys are having phone sex, I'd say "sexually frustrated" As in, "I am sexually frustrated because it has been a while since we've slept together."
