I am working on being more independent because the dependency has been bothering my very-independent girlfriend. Just a quick question: if I become more independent, will she naturally become more dependent and balance it out?
It sounds about right.
What do you think? (If not, I don't want us to become too independent of each other and have her lose interest)?

Yes she will become a little bit more dependent on you. I think your idea is great! It will defiently help balance the relationship out. You will come to find that by both of you being able to do your own thing sometimes will make the times that you do hang out more enjoyable.

These thoughts are dependent thoughts. You will struggle to achieve independence if your independence depends on her dependence.
