Recently and due to pressure from the US government we now have K-9 Officers at the ferry terminal but keep in mind dogs are not allowed on the actual ferry.

My girlfriend and I were sitting on the ferry watching whales off the port bow when a K-9 officer walk past us. My girlfriend leaned over and said, ``You see that man...he is checking to make sure there are no illegal dogs on the ferry``

I couldn`t pass this one up...it was just to good!!! I smiled politely and replied, ``you do have to worry about those dog smugglers...big problem in these parts...but on a side not are you sure he isnt looking for DRUGS!``
