There's nothing wrong with it if you keep your expectations realistic. He probably doesn't have much interest in you beyond sex. If you're cool with that, go for it.

I agree with the poster above. It's alright if sex is all what you both want. But in case you're looking for a relationship you should slow down a bit. 9 years is long. He probably isn't the person you once knew him to be. Get to know him better before having sex with him or you risk becoming his f**k buddy. So yes you come across as easy if you're looking for a relationship.

Yep, he's looking for a ' buddy. If that's what you want, go for it, but if not, be prepared to be disappointed.
It CAN sometimes work out - my wife and I got back together that way when she called me after nearly a decade of not seeing each other. Just don't count on it.
