OK, so I was "dating" this girl. The first real date we went on was perfect! everything was going great. I asked her what she was looking for relationship wise. I told her that i wanted to take things slow, I felt that in the long run that it would be better. I have always found things get really complicated when I sleep with someone right off the bat. Now this girl doesn't talk to me, I saw her today and she was with another guy (who could really be anyone). I'm not pissed about it, it wasn't anything serious. I am just really confused. I consider myself a really nice guy, I thought she would like the fact that i wanted to go slow. my question is, how slow is too slow and should i not hold back in the future. if we know things are heating up, should i just go with the flow?

I dont think so? I have no problem making the first move with things and making decisions in the relationship. BUT I do think about things way too much.

You said it yourself....your'e a nice guy. Never bring up stupid shit like "lets take it slow and see where things go" or " I really really like you". Is she hot? Do you want to bang her or make out? Of course you do! Dont hide those facts. If you do, she'll see you as manipulative. its her job to fight you off not the other way around dude!

Yes...we are dealing with a female mind here so dont try and think like them.

good point surfhd. i really did want to bang her, but with my past experiences the other girls i did that with became VERY clingy. It doesn't matter, I am young. she was actually a couple years older (30). I now think that she just might be on the hunt to find a husband...
