    When I got home yesterday, my g/f and an old AmeriCorps teammate setup a little birthday party for me. It was actually a lot of fun. Got to hang out with our old teammate, and my buddy came over, plus the neighbor from the apartment downstairs came by. We setup a little fire in the pit in the backyard and played some yard games.

    Haven't done anything like that since New Orleans.

    I only get a day and a half to be at home, but I think it's well worth it.
