Hi ladies,

What does it mean when you are just OFF from the beginning to someone?

Met a girl a couple weeks ago and haven't hung out with her much but whenever shes in the group she is ICE to me but LOUD and warm and center of attention to everyone else. The second we met I went to shake her hand and she did one of those limp wrist ones and looked away. Even her body language is off. Standing side ways ALWAYS and rapidly changing the subject or engaging someone else in conversation when I speak up. Asked my buddy who is chill with her if I had done or said something to piss her of or if I had been rude and he said it was all in my head.

Drove me nuts last night. At one point I finally spoke up and started jokingly challenging her on something she said that was a little ridiculous about her dating prerequisites. Once I had forced the groups attention she finally started looking me in the eye and smiling and being normal but of course it put off everyone else a bit...

IMO it does sound like she's trying to get your attention, but it's hard to say by reading your descriptions, at least for me.
Kind of a weird way to draw attention of someone you like, but hey, who am I to judge ?

well so she's not good at showing signs of interest. i think some young girls are conditioned to not put out a lot of interest because a lot of guys will court a girl, have sex with her, then want nothing to do with her.

i don't know that i would write her off so quickly if i were you. i bet if you started talking to her she would put her guard down.
