    Scars

I know most girls don't mind scars on their guys, but what about the reverse?

I am pretty hard on my body (poor physical coordination and lack of inhibition), and while I'm not disfigured or anything, I did fall through a window as a young adult and have a series of raised scars over my back and shoulders. A previous boyfriend of mine was bothered by them (and didn't express it tactfully). I thought it was odd, but maybe this is a typical reaction? Does it bother most people?

    Just curious! =)

...Haha sorry. No naked pictures this time =P

But seriously. I was a little taken aback by my boyfriend's reaction, but I hadn't told him about the scars. Is this something I should disclose? Like, "Oh, hey, before we get started, you should know that I fell out a window when I was seventeen" ?

Well, if the scars bother you, they can always be reduced.

Personally, I'd be more bothered by acne scarring. A couple of scars on your back wouldn't bother me, but I'd notice them.

    I wouldn't be bothered at all. I can't imagine they're terribly ugly.

No, unless you've been horribly burned or look like the elephant man scars shouldn't matter. I personally find scars, beauty marks, little imperfections to be quite sexy on women, it makes you unique. If a guy can't get over a few imperfections he's probably OCD or has way too high/unrealistic standards. Nobody is perfect.

I wouldn't be bothered much by scars. If I was, I'd probably hate my own body for having a 20cm long scar on my thigh

Scars don't bother me at all.

My wife's got a big one on her leg from having it surgically straightened as a kid. Only thing that bugs me in that regard is that she bruises easily and is a bit clutzy (as I am) so she's always walking around looking like I've been beating on her, LOL.

Ok, not really, but she's usually sporting some good ones on her legs from walking into table corners, and for some reason she keeps running into the towel rack in our bathroom and bruising the crap outta her upper arm.

I hope you learn your lesson not to have sex near an open window.
