Neverending pain?

I apologize for my bad English.

OK, here is my story.
Around 2 years ago I met a girl. I kinda felt something for her and so did she for me, but I was too stupid to notice that. Maybe because I was confused cos she was the first person for who I had feelings = / but thats not the point here.
Because of my stupidness she (I think) lost her feelings for me,but in my case Amor's arrow has hit my heart for full 10 points. Meaning... I can't stop thinking of her. I tried to forget about her several times, but it just doesn't work The other part of me just says '' What r u doing? Were the past 2 years for nothing? You worked so hard for this and u will just throw it away?''

Any suggestions?

We did go out more or less. It was at a folk highschool, we were watching a movie, holding hands and all of a sudden she leaves the rooms and says ''I'm tired''. From that time everything started to get worse and more worse.
And yes, we still have contact to each other, we are like very good friends.

It all would not be so hard if there would not be the great distance between us. It is like 1000 kilometers.
