I starting texting this girl I met on PoF a couple of days ago to get my mind off my breakup, and it turned into something hilariously awful. This is our text conversation from tonight:

Her: you been on POF since we talked?
Me: yea, I logged on a few minutes ago, nothing new, left it"
her: why are you seriously on pof if you don't want to me someone? you prob been talkin to some other girl, you're weird so **** off
Me: I saw you online too, no big deal
her: U paly games, we can try hanging out wtf is online you have to? figure out wtf you want buddy
me: I said we can meet when ready
her: omg really ur ****ed, I'm not good enough ur still looking for more girls, don't ****ing text me again
me: you were online too!
her: wow dude **** you, seriouslu **** you
me: calm down, we just started talking yesterday
her: I went on to hide my profile, you ****ing liar

I carefully screen anyone I date from an online dating site. Anyone that is too pushy, erratic, or simply mental, despite how attractive, I don't want anything to do with.

She was totally normal until this point. . .it was ****ing crazy. That said, I haven't heard from her since.

It can be real hit and miss.

Some people are good at masking their unsavoury characterstics ... up until a point.

I've been lucky up until now. The worst I've had is someone crying on a date (they clearly weren't over their ex) and another being late twice, by over an hour.

That's excluding that time I fell asleep during a date, but it was medication induced and I'd had a long day, honest ...
