Best fix after drunk texting?

Long story short...met a guy through some friends and hit it off very well. We spent almost entire weekend going out with his buddies, cooking out, and other things. I spent Thurs-Sat at his place and he came to mine on Sunday. (We did take a few breaks when I went home to clean and go out with my old roomie.) Anyhow, I knew he was getting his daughters on Monday so we decided we would go out in a week or two once they leave since it would be way to early to introduce.

I was invited to hang with his crew who had kinda pulled me into the fold on Monday night and go to a 4th July party. His friends all say this guy really likes me, but he is intimidated by the pay differance (he is a broke Marine..has to pay child support and does not get paid well by Military) and I make about $72,000. So dumb drunk me sends him a text saying that the salery diff doesn't matter to me and I like him for him. Then proceed to send 3 or 4 more random texts about the crazy party we were at. (Come to find out it was a swingers house so I texted some funny commentary about what was going on while I sat there drinking.) Needless to say I have not heard from him today (my last text appoligized for being so drunk and texting...but that was a drunk text too.) I am hoping that he has not texted back because he is so busy with his two kids...but also wondering if it was my obnoxious texts.

So I am assuming I should just let it go and wait to see if he contacts me again? I would think that would be better then sending another appology even if this one was sober...am I right? (I was trying to be funny, but after reading through the txt from last night and seeing I sent him 5 with no response from him and the whole "salary" thing, I feel like I came accross as needy.) I am just mad at myself for feeling like I messed up the end of what was an awsome weekend.

Any thoughts guys? If no contact after a few days should I shoot him a text? Or should I just wait and if I don't hear from him chalk it up to whatever?

Sure. It can't hurt to be proactive if you still like the guy. Can you ask any of his friends what the issue is? Maybe he really is busy or something.
