    How does his mind work?

Hey.... I need some advice on how this guy I like's brain works, because I have no idea!! I like him a lot and for a short time I thought he liked me back, but he's being really really nice to this other girl now. He talks with her more and laughs with her and he gave up his seat in the bus for her and stuff... And with me he's a lot less outspoken but I've caught him looking at me sometimes. We also had this one moment on the dock when the sun was just going down, we didn't talk we just sat there for ages. So I just have no idea what to think now! We're both 14 and I've never felt this way about a guy before. We're not really close friends so I don't even have his number but I think about him a lot..... So should I take action or anything? Or does he like this other girl and he just acts that way around all girls? I have no idea!!!!!! Please Please Please reply

I think you should try to be more upfront (tactfully) in your communication style. What would be wrong to simply trying to be friends to see where it leads?

You should talk to him, initiate the conversation, and carry it if necessary if you want progress. Stop asking us how his mind works, we don't know. You need to talk to him to get to know him. That's how you find out how his mind works.

Or you can simply believe all the myths your friends will feed you, and be perpetually unhappy and lost.

    Pick one.

Or, you are simply not his "type".

We also had this one moment on the dock when the sun was just going down, we didn't talk we just sat there for ages.
Or, he doesn't know you like him because you never told him. And when you ARE together, you don't talk to him. You gave him the cold shoulder.
