Yes, al-qaeda were mentioned. And yes, it also could well be 'native' converts behind it.

Although most al-qaeda members in foreign countries may well be immigrants, not all immigrants are al-qaeda are they?

To tarnish all immigrants and throw them in the same category as radical extremist terrorists, which has yet to be confirmed in this case, is pure ignorance. Take anyone out of their country of birth, relocate them somewhere else; you've got yourself an immigrant.
