I told her late night that she cannot contact me ever again unless its about our son. I said she lives with someone, we are done and all this secret emailing etc is over.
My brain tells me I did the right thing...my heart? Not so much.

Sorry to hear this, but if you think that things R really over, then it's the right thing to do. It would be very very hurtful to be able to do this, I hope you will feel better soon. Stay strong....

You did the right thing otherwise you wouldn't of done it. It was out of necessity and that trumps emotions right now.

Yes, I think I did do the right thing. But I know she will still email me, to keep me on the side so when she dumps the loser she is with I am the back up plan. I have been for many years now. "I dont know why I yearn for you...there is got to be a reason we keep getting back togther". Yeah, you yearn for my $, my security, the fact I have a good job, not to mention the incredible sex I provide you (lol)...I am NO ONE'S BACK UP PLAN HONEY!!!!! I have self respect; time to engage it.
