I met a guy randomly at a friend's birthday party in a restaurant. We exchanged numbers and we text it for about a month before meeting up this weekend. He is the military and lives about three hours away. Then my friends and I went into town and one of them decided to throw a fit. They also said some things to him about me and he told me this later. I felt bad that he has been thrown into all of the drama that night. He said he wanted to hang out and we made plans for a month from now, however first he said that he wanted to spend the weekend and as I was leaving he said that he wanted to just hang out for a day.

After spending time on the last day, he felt like he was pulling away from me. Is this because he wants space or not? what do you think?

There could be a lot of reasons, and many could be on his end.

Just go hang out with him and see what happens. There's no real need to overanalyze everything here.
