There's only one way to know if it's ok and the only way to find out is to do it.
"When I was 4 years old, they tried to test my IQ.
They showed me this picture of 3 oranges and a
pear. They asked me which one was different and
did not belong. They taught me different was
    wrong."

Fake a giant yawn, say, "BOY!!! That was a BIG yawn" while stretching your arms out. Then say, "I think I'll just put my arms down . . ." and put it across the back of her chair.

At the very least it should warrant a laugh.

That's the kinda tacky thing which would put me off.

In which case you wouldn't be the girl for me cause our humor would clash.

So to Turbo, my advice only applies if you want someone who would appreciate that style of humor.

Or you could be like me and put the jackets down in the seat inbetween you two. That way you don't have to worry about the arm maneuver cause you can't reach anyway.

Yeah man, if you can't even get the chick to laugh what's the point? It'd be a miserable relationship if you ask me, even if the sex were great.

i agree with sfalexi, it accomplishes your purpose with a bit of humour. if a girl has a sense of humour like KirstyM seems to have i wouldn't want her anyway.
my opinion is better than yours.

That depends on your definition of "humour"

A good sense of "humour" anyway.

In a movie, pray that its cold or -1000 degrees or something. she'll start leaning towards you and once you 2 snuggled up, just put ya arm around her my friend. She'll want it oh she'll want it.

Precisely. I don't mind a little sarcasm and "stupid" humour. I thrive on it. Maybe this isn't Kirsty's thing so if I were to date a girl and she didn't appreciate my type of humor, I know it just wouldn't work out.
