So, I'm 19 and my girlfriend is 15. Now, I never had a girlfriend that was less than 2 years younger than me, but this happened to be like the smartest, funniest extremely beautiful 15 year old girl i met.
Now, her parents are okay with our relationship, and her cousin is also one of my best friends.
The problem is what others think about it. Many fellow students and acquaintances tried to let me know one way or the other, that I should have a girlfriend closer to my age.
Another thing is that she is a virgin and I am not, but still, I'm not really in a hurry to take her purity, I told her we'll do it when she will be ready.
However, I seek council over here: how do you view this? Do you think it is unusual for a guy my age to have a girlfriend 4 years younger?

I do. The difference in maturity levels between a 15 year old and a 19 year old is gigantic! The older you get, the less a 4-year age gap matters. But at your ages, it is a huge difference.

Yes, it's unusual... it's probably illegal (Dunno where you're from), and it's a bit disturbing. The difference between 15 and 19 is huge. I think you DO need to find somebody closer to your own age.

hmm it might be illegal because she's still a minor if you have sex with her that is but it seems like you're not living in the US, so I don't really know about your country...

Maybe it is unusual, but considered that girls are more advanced in that age and some are pretty mature with 15, it is not that weird. If you really like her, there is no reason why you should not be together. People, it is not like he is 20 years older, so give him a break....
Just respect her boundaries and don't do anything which is illegal in your country.

I don't think it's wrong. Unusual perhaps, but if she really is more mature than the average 15 years old (and maybe you're a bit less mature than the average 19 years old), then it's ok. It also depends on what your lifestyles are like, i.e., does she go to school, and what do you do instead? It can be good in the beginning, but eventually it could get bad, if the differences are too big (like if she's still in school and you have a job and stuff).
