Is this girl a bit full on?

Hi,

I met a girl in a bar about 5 weeks ago, we exchanged numbers and became friends on Facebook. Nothing happened for about a week, but about 4 weeks ago she got in contact with me over Facebook. We started emailing each other over a period of 2 weeks and was only a email every 1 or 2 days. Due to work commitments I couldn't meet up with her, initially. After 2 weeks we started texting and then met up. Since then we've met each other 3 times.

However, since the first date she texts me everyday about 20 times, some days they can be anything from 35 to 50. They start at 6 or 7 in the morning and carry on throughout the day. Quite often I will get 3 to 5 texts in a row without me replying. I think the only reason there are not more texts is because my responses are delayed either because I'm at work or because I need some respite. She also asks me to call her every day after work and a couple of times a day if it's a weekend. If not, she will call me.

As I speak I have received 8 texts in the last hour and a half without me replying!

A few of the texts have also been quite sexually explicit, which I'm not sure is normal for knowing someone in such a small amount of time.

She also talks about getting to know me, which is fine, but mentions the long term a lot. Again, it's only been 2 weeks, it seems a bit odd to be talking about the long term.

It's only been 2 weeks since we actually met up and 3 dates in. I haven't experienced something like this before, does this seem a bit too full on?

I personally feel this is a bit too much and feel I am being suffocated. If I am over reacting, please tell me.

Wow... awkward.... if i had a really great time with them then Id keep hanging out and eventually tell them they need to seriously cutback on the contact. If hanging out with them wasnt so great then Id start ignoring them x_X No need to have psycho stalkers cloudin up my life

I agree with everybody above. She is clearly a little too attached. I'm thinking some sort of 'Fatal Attraction'-like shit is going to go down if you try to break ties. You might just be stuck, otherwise she might come and poison your dog and boil your pet bunny.
