Please help

Hey guys.
I once dated a girl who was the most amazing person i've ever met.. she's incredibly beautiful, funny, attentive, loving, honest, deep.. I could go on forever. Back then I was at a low point in my life. Many things had recently happened and with my own stupidity to fuel them those things lead to me becoming one of those guys you see downtown every single day, drinking, smoking weed, doing drugs.. I was a complete mess and it really screwed up my way of thinking. I eventually broke up with her after a 2 year relationship.
Shortly after the breakup I realized that my life wasn't the same without her so I decided to try and get her back. When she didn't want me I wasn't about to give up on her so I quit doing drugs, quit drinking except when going out, quit smoking tobacco, I stopped hanging out with criminals and started shaping up in school, started going back to the gym and focused really hard to fix everything i could remember made her uncomfortable about me.
I really wanted her back and I did all this for her, but I was too late and she found someone else.
It's been 6 months since that happened now and we still talk every day on the phone. She's very happy about how I've turned my life around and she's astonished at how I don't give up on her. You see I'm waiting for her, making sure to stay sober and behave and I wont touch a single girl again, only her.
She wants to try again when she's not with her boyfriend anymore and she says she doesn't love him anything like she loved me. She even gets bored with him sometimes and feels like she wants to come to me instead but she never does..
She says she still has feelings for me, even that she loves me in a certain way. I was her first love.

The bottom line is, I love this girl with all my heart and if all goes well, someday i'll put a ring on her hand.

What I need you guys for is to tell me what I can do.
I feel like i'm so close to getting her back, like all I need is one big push..
I've tried telling her how i love her in a million (very dramatic) ways and that always gets her a little closer to my side and farther from him, but it's never enough.

I want to know what a guy could do to win your love. Like something you'd see in a movie, something amazingly romantic and .. for lack of a better word, huge. (English is not my native language)
If you were a girl in her shoes, what could the ex that you still have feelings for do to make you leave the boring new guy and go back to him?

Please help me.. I realize that breaking up a relationship is bad, but I need her. I love her more than I can even begin to say and I can make her so much happier than he does.

You don't win anyone back by putting your life on hold for them. You must create a life of your own, make new firends, find new interests, and stop focusing on her. Keeping some distance, being patient, and stop mingling in her life may get you what you want BUT with life there are no guarantees. If you push for her relationship to fail, she will resent you forever.
