What does It mean when you put your gf's hand on your heart?

Hello everyone,

I recently spent an evening with my boyfriend. After a few minutes he held my hand and put It on his heart. It was beating quite fast...
How am I supposed to understand this? We've been dating for 5 months and we live in 2 different towns so we can t see each other so often.
In addition he hasn't told me that he loves me yet so could it be a way to say it?

What does It mean when you guys do this to your girlfriend? Does it have something to do with love feelings?

It could mean several things. You could ask him, he probably knows. While it might be a way for him to say that he cares about you and/or loves you, it is more likely that he is telling you that you make his heart race/is excited by you. It may not have the deep emotional meanings you want it to. You have to take that gesture along with the rest of the things he does and says to get a clear understanding.

thank you for your opinions. The thing is that wouldn t a guy be afraid that this gesture makes his gf think that he s in love if it isn t the case? Because it is not neutral. A kiss on my hand and putting it on his heart with his hand on mine normally means that he wants to pass on a message...
Also, he often stares at me for like 10 seconds non stop, this is one other "sign"...

Maybe you already guessed it. We are just people like you, but you only know your bf. You only know the answer. Ask. Figure it out. Give him some signs and see how he reacts.

When you say that I probably already guessed it, do you mean That I know wether he loves me or not but not certain of it? You re right I m the only one who knows my boyfriend and wether he loves me or not, but this also means that I m not objective enough to be sure of It...
