We can. Did you have another question?
Second thoughts can generally be amended with judicious action; injudicious actions can seldom be recovered with second thoughts.

The friend zone exists because it is a safe house. Whilst 'love' and other facsimillies are fraught with emotional baggage, the 'friend zone' is a place where you can unpack and relax! Once you make it 'more' it is LESS!

A friend is someone who you can talk to and relate to without fear of loss. Also, they don't attract you physically. Whereas a boyfriend/girlfriend allows for a different type of talk. There is a fear of loss, and also a physical attraction.
The two may meet (friend = boyfriend) that is a long way down the track for some and impossible for others.
Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how it remains so popular?

It's like back-up zone. Because your time/resources are limited you can only focus on few males at the same time.

As the above have mentioned - it's a safe place where there will not be a fear of loss. Arguments or falling outs in friendships can be amended but such things in love usually end up in a break up which just breaks the heart of people.

Be patient or go for it. If you choose the former, it'll take time but she'll notice you more and more and begin to like you beyond a friend. The latter is a more daring approach that you just tell her you love her and see what she says.

When life becomes too tough and one feels the need to hide - one will start dreaming.

That is you biggest mistake right there. You should never be available to them, should never pick up the pieces when their BF isn't around. They are using you for their emotional tampon, until they either find a BF or their BF calls them back.

If she was into you sexually she would have ditched her BF a long time ago.....so you are best to move on and stop being friends with girls....if you like them ask them out. If they say no you just saved yourself months of bull sh it.
