Hey I first replied last week and am glad to see the topics popular.

Acne really can do so much damage to you socially; it can make you feel like crap.

I'm gonna try benzol peroxide 2.5% along with the regimen at acne.org (great site, can't remember who on this forum recommended it but thanks a lot!!)

I wouldn't pay too much attention to the regimen!! If you do exactly what the guy says and use it twice a day, that much, within 4 days your skin will look distustingly red and flaky (worse than spots!).

Use 2.5% benzoyl peroxide in the evening, and in the morning, moisturise. Otherwise it will dry your skin out loads. After 2 weeks doing this, as well as antibiotics from my doctor, I have not a single spot!!! It's done wonders for my confidence and I feel like a different person.

Don't hesitate to go to your doctor, the BP gel and antibiotics will really help if you have mild/average/medium acne/spots.

Thanks jimbob, yeah I went to see the doctor the other day and got some new pills and benzol peroxide 2.5%, it's good to hear advice from somone who has gone through the same!
