I'm 23, and she is 22, we've been together for a little over a year now!
This wasn't the usual drunken one off kiss, they were both talking, both sober, and he kissed her, and she kissed him back.
I've found out after i was lied to about it. She said the truth would split us up and she just didn't want to say.
She's very sorry for it, and says she doesn't know why she did it, it just happened.
She says she will do anything to gain the trust back in me.
What would you do? is there a right thing to do?

this is why you shouldnt let your woman be alone with another man. then this wouldnt happen. now its happened, i suggest a kick in the balls for casanova, a dry slap for your gf, then cry yourself to sleep for 2 weeks. after this never let her out alone again, and try pretend it never happened. or ditch her.

Detach emotionally. Use her for sex until you find another girl, then drop her.

This is a brutal and asshole solution, but bitterly it's crossed my mind, but the feelings for her are stronger than i'd ever had for a girl, so don't think this is a possibility.

Just start treating her as an object, and your feelings will die down. Force yourself not to spend the night when you have sex with her. That will be a good start.

At your age (the both of you), it's probably not a good indicator. She's probably looking for some adventure, to have some fun and see what other guys are like besides you. She's definitely looking, lets put it that way, and unfortunately most people don't move on from one relationship until they have prospects for another.

i was in the same boat at your age. I turfed her. Lots of girls out there and you're young. You'll never trust her again. That's the bigest part of a relationship
