    problems with age?

Well I'm really not sure about the age requirement on here if there is one, and this isn't really
love but I need some advice anyway.

I'm 16, and this girl that I get on great with, she wants to be in a relationship with me, but the thing is
    she's 13, nearly 14..

I'm really not sure about the age gap, and I am not sure what others would think.

It's nearly 3 years, and I'm still in school..

Can anyone give me advice on what to do?

    I do want to try..

I think 13-14 is way to young for a relationship...I think 16 is as well..

    And onto the useful advice

You're both in highschool, as long as you keep it to highschool drama and romance, who says its a problem? I know in highshool the rules are different, 3 years is a big gap. So if you're friends give you too much hassle, then leave it alone, but if it sounds good, then go for it.

This is all practice until you get older, so enjoy it. Highschool relationships are some of the most memorable.

I think that it is fine, as long as it isn't too serious since you two should be concentrating with school as well.
Also, you may have to think about what her parents would think too....since some of the parents can be overprotective and won't late their children date while they are in high school.

Uhhhh... he's 16, he's probably a Junior in HS. She's 13, she's probably in 8th grade in Middle School. Big difference there in maturity and relationship readiness. Of COURSE she wants to go out with you... but why do you want to go out with her? What do you plan on doing when you're 18 and she's jailbait?

At 13 years old, she's still a child. I was completely different at those two stages of my life. I suggest you find a girl closer to your own age, I'm sure there are lots of 15-16-17 year old girls you would get along with.
