Girl chose me instead of her boyfriend but said she needs space for awhile?

I've just taken this girl from her boyfriend whom their relationship was not as good anymore. It was an 8 month relationship between them. The boyfriend confronted me and we talked cleanly without aggression. He handed her to me. And she chose me without hesitation. I was the one hesitating that time because of guilt. She said I'm no good if I acted that way. So I chose her. She told me shes not going back to him. And that the love that is lost between them cannot be recovered anymore. This is the first time we have encountered this situation. We had a night together after that. We both loved each other as we have already been dating for 3 months before that. But the next morning she told me that she needed space for awhile. She needed to break away from any relationship and wants to be alone. I gave it to her. The last thing that she said is that she really do love me. She still wants to keep in touch. Its been 2 days now with no communication with her and I'm worried. What should I do?
