I am dissatisfied with only being able to give one thanks per (whatever the unit of time is).
As IRL, I like to be generous with my praise and deliver it as I roam the site. Its just silly to only get to use it once. I'm not going to review all posts and then go back and decide which one I like most.
May I ask you please restore the previous settings LA? This new setting makes no sense.
Naturally when you restore the old setting you may expect a number of Thanks when you make the announcement.

it is 5 thanks per day. it is now 10 thanks. see if that helps.

There should be an opposite of thanks button, but i dont know what the opposite of thanks is. An ungrateful button maybe? Sometimes i want to show my disappointment in someones post, but i cant be arsed to write anything.

Ohh, so *that's* why the thanks button disappears sometimes! It's about as annoying as the edit button disappearing after some time (nah, that's always going to be top of the list).
