Girls afraid of serious relationship during the first time. She want to know more about you, your background, your characteristic.
If you hurry up to say "love" , they will think you are not unbelievable !

You could be saying it too soon into the relationship.

It's not necessarily that the girl doesn't feel the same way, you could just have caught her off guard, surprised her. I know when 1 of my ex's sprung the L word on me, I wasn't expecting it, it was very quick. I didn't run a mile, but I was gobsmacked and needed a little time to process that before I told him the same thing.

Having said that, with another ex, even though I was with him longer, if he'd ever said that I think it would have been the reality I check for me to say that it was never gonna las with him.
