I'm sure no one remembers my posts from more than a year ago...they were all about my ex that I simply could not get over. I started drinking relentlessly to forget about her and my life has been hell ever since, until I met Kera. She is the greatest thing that has ever happened to me. She is the most beautiful girl in the world, and she accepts me for who I am. When I met her about a half a year ago, everything changed. At the time, I was still pining over my ex, but eventually I fell for her...she treated me like I was the king of the world, regardless of my many, many, problems, and she has been here for me ever since. Shes smart, caring, beautiful, everything I could ask for, and now we are married, and I could not be happier.

I just hope that everyone knows that there is a life after the ex that has screwed you over, there is someone that will love you for you and nothing more. You just need to let it go, and find that person who could never do you wrong, and who you could never do anything wrong to.

Basically, I just want to wish you all luck, and let you know that there IS someone for you, whether you believe it or not.

Great story Lifetime, it's always nice when former 'broken hearts' come back and can say they healed and moved on to better things. It serves as inspiration and hope for those that are suffering with their hard luck in love right now.

I came on this forum over 8 years ago with my heart in shreds over my then-husband who was regularly cheating on me. Thought I'd never get away from him or over him. Two years ago I married the greatest man in the world that treats me better than I thought was possible. Love wins in the end. It just not be the ending the way you imagined it
