American Idol is a freak show as well as a total waste of time. The term idol means something that is worshiped. I'm sorry, but these people were nobodies before the show and most will be nobodies afterwards. That, to me, is not an idol. *shrug*

you know....clay aiken had like..one hit song (which was total crap, he sounded like a girl...) and reuben..or however you spell it...has come out with nothing but shit as well. Fantasia isn't singing the right music..so she's stupid. Kelly clarkson was the only mildly successful american idol winner...

i think that the only successful person on that show was william hung. you still see him on tv commercials today.

Steve2004-----I like watching American Idol. Reuben was great. Kelly Clarkson's CD Breakaway is on rotation in my player...and Constantine, well he reminded me a bit of Jim Morrison. Sort of.

My bad, I didn't realise "constatine" was a contestant on american idol, I assumed the movie Constatine was being broadcasted and american idol kicked it off the schedule.
