Last Saturday I went to get my hair cut and for some reason I really liked the girl that cut my hair? When chatting with her it seemed to me there was a bit of chemistry as I said I was going out in town later and she said she was also going out in town and even told me the places she was going. Surely that means something? For the record meeting a girl when getting a hair cut is the last place I would expect to, as you always look stupid getting your hair cut.
But sadly I ended up not going out in the same town as her so there was 0 chance of me bumping into her. Frustrated I went back 2 days later (Christmas eve) after I plucked up enough courage to go in and ask her for her number. But the hairdressing place was shut. I wouldn't let myself leave though without doing something about it so I bought a Christmas card and wrote in it something along the lines of
"I came to your hairdressing place today to ask for your number but it was shut . I should of asked for your number on Saturday but I thought I might see you out. x
P.S. here's my number..."
Now, to me this was a very bad idea as I spent the whole of Christmas wondering if she had got the card yet, which wasn't much fun.
It's nearly come full circle of it being a week and I'm still wondering. It seems to me that chances are she's probably read the card and not wanted to get in touch. But I can't help wondering is there a slim chance she never got the card, or didn't like getting the card and would of preferred me to ask in person? Or maybe the card seemed weird? (I don't do this kind of thing often)
So my question is should I go back and ask in person? Would this seem stalkerish? Should I just forget about it? Did I read into something when nothing was there and she just isn't interested?
It's driving me a bit nuts now so would greatly appreciate some advice.
