I just can't see too many benefits of being an individual. If I had a kid (God forbid!), I'd make sure he conformed because there's safety in numbers, plus I wouldn't want him to turn out like me.

Or maybe it's too late for me. HIA would approve if I mentioned how I think I should just buy a gun and shoot myself now.

No don't do that. Do what makes you happy and I think you should let your kid decide who he/she wants to be by themselves.. Being an individual is about being honest with yourself. You don't stick out because you try to, you're set apart because of the truth inside yourself
